Aftercare

  • Clean the Area: With clean hands Blot the microbladed area morning and night with cool water only, using a lint free makeup round.
  • Apply Ointment: After cleansing, apply a recommended aftercare ointment to keep the area moisturized.
  • Avoid Water and Sweat: For the first 5 to 7 days, avoid getting the area wet, soap, shampoo, makeup, hot spas, sauna, swimming and refrain from heavy sweating to prevent infection.
  • Do Not Pick or Scratch: Allow any scabs to fall off naturally; picking can lead to scarring or colour loss.
  • Follow Healing Timeline: The healing process lasts 4 to 6 weeks, with the most sensitive periods occurring in the first few days.

By adhering to these aftercare instructions, you can ensure optimal healing and results from your microblading procedure. After healing, they are smudge proof, you can enjoy your low maintenance eyebrows and all normal activities. A touch up will be required every 9 to 15 months depending on the individual. Frequently Asked Questions

  • Step 1. On the day of the appointment, we will draw the desired brow shape in with a charcoal pencil. During this time, the customized shape and pigment colour is matched to your skin tone. A patch test is done and colour and shape are mutually agreed upon before starting.
  • Step 2. Before the microblading begins, a topical numbing cream is applied to the area to minimize discomfort this takes about 30 mins. If you're worried that the process is painful, some clients may feel a slight discomfort, but it's relatively painless.
  • Step 3. Follow up appointment is booked for 4 to 6 weeks post treatment to perfect and touch up brows if required.

The microblading process we use a special manual tool to draw on individual strokes one by one. It's an extremely meticulous process that takes around 2.5 hours to complete. Including time for numbing and mapping brow shape.

The best part about this technique is that there is limited down time. There is some slight redness and swelling immediately afterwards for some. It will only last up to 24 hours. The brows will fade about 30% there may be some slight flaking of skin as it heals.

All equipment is sterilized and disposable medical grade blades are used for each individual customer.
